No Cap, No Gown

FeNess'N Derty, Bridgeport, CT hip-hop duo, has released a new track that takes to NYC. The Connecticut duo teamed up with Bronx native Black Dave to drop their new track, "Derty MFZ". With FeNess'N Derty having released their mixtape in April, just over a month ago, they've really stepped up production and continue to release simply derty tracks, this being one of them. The group performs throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn quite a bit so be sure to check them out.

Black Dave continues to deliver heavy bars from his "fuck everything and everybody" mindset.

"Eatin' Lobster with my bitch from Paris / Don't look at me cause your bitch is average"

Black Dave is a busy man, not only in the studio, but filming his next line for Zoo York. He's definitely talented, riding for Zoo York, Venture Trucks, Nike, and even the coveted Supreme, he has been a major contribution to the skateboarding field. All in all, Black Dave has inspired many to essentially, give no fucks.

Check out the new track below, and be sure to download FeNess'N Derty's self-titled mixtape and Black Dave's mixtape - "Black Bart

A New World's Fair, Uh Huh...

This isn't what you're thinking, this is not about the World's Fair of April 1964 that opened in Queens, NY. This is about World's Fair,  the Queens, NY hip-hop collective, that is embarking on a 15 date tour deemed the Cross Faded Tour. The collective will be backed with support from Atlanta collective Two-9. If you haven't heard of World's Fair you need to download their album "Bastards of The Party", released under Fool's Gold Records in 2013. This album is nothing short of excellence and can be downloaded for free here.

World's Fair has released a new track in preparation of their upcoming tour, "Uh Huh". This track features members Prince SAMO and Cody B. Ware on top of a beat produced by Jansport J. The beat and sample of "Mr. Me Too" by Clipse, the duo in which Pusha T came from, create a gritty yet simplistic aura. Some may think the constant "uh huh" throughout the song is incredibly annoying, but it actually contrasts the flow of the vocals and becomes quite subtle compared to the aggressive vocals. Give the track a listen as World's Fair does not disappoint.

Check out the new World's Fair track "Uh Huh," which features Prince SAMO and Cody B. Ware. The City Never Sleeps

Straight out of Harlem a hip-hop group was formed, Ratking. Ratking pulls in everything needed to make a potion of New York street madness. Ratking released their EP "Wiki93" under XL Recordings in 2012, which had critics raving and was noted on the Complex - 50 Best Albums of 2012. Ratking is back for more and brings us back to the streets of Harlem for a new chapter of their lives.

Lead MC Patrick Morales, also known as Wiki, has a pounding rhythm accompanied by a nasally voice. Some say it is reminiscent of the early years of Eminem, but whoever it may remind you of it is definitely not something to sleep on. This group has brought a new breathe of fresh air to the genre, and it's very much relatable to our own lives.

Taken from the Wiki93 EP out November on Hot Charity/XL Recordings. http://letterracer.com http://twitter.com/RATKING_ http://hotcharity.com http://xlrecordings.com

Ratking isn't about sippin' lean and feeling some type of way, it's about life on the streets and the challenges that turn into every day struggles.

"Kicked out the crib, roam the city streets / Think I'm pretty weak cause I've seen some shitty weeks"

Wiki doesn't leave a street corner untouched as he and Ratking share their lives of hardship. With their full length recently released, "So it Goes...", it's evident that their style has not changed and the journey through the young-minded hip-hop artists lives picks up where it was left off. "So it goes..." can't be unheard, as this is as gritty as hip-hop gets and true to the roots of the genre.

They're taking it to the streets and you can see their story turn into a reality as they embark on tour. Tour dates can be seen below and be sure to support these guys and buy their album here
