The Cohort Is Coming

Keith Ape, the man at the front the Korean trap scene, will be performing in New York this December thanks to Noisey. Born in Seoul, South Korea, the rapper quickly accrued attention worldwide with the viral release of "It G Ma" earlier this year. The track received some negative attention due to the similarity in sound to OG Maco's "U Guessed It." That didn't slow anything down for Keith Ape, as the massive positive reception was soon followed by the "It G Ma Remix", this time around featuring A$AP Ferg, Father, Dumbfoundead, and Waka Flocka Flame. At the point of release, the remix made for a great entry point for people to discover the Korean trap star and delve a little deeper into his library. Two months go by and now Keith Ape has begun "The Savage Haring Gallery", a weekly series in which he will be releasing a new single the Tuesday of each week to come.

This week he brings us "Psycho'15", produced by Junior Chef, an updated version of his '14 version. This time Robb Bank$ hops on the track only to make it clear the two artists work very well together, as Robb Bank$ fits right in with the sinister echoes of the track. As for Keith Ape performing in New York, he will be performing at the Marlin Room at Webster Hall on Thursday, December 17. Tickets can be purchased here (18+), in the meanwhile be sure to check out his new track "Psycho'15" below.
